Readings: Chapter 1(First Farmers), Sections: Breakthroughs to Agriculture to end of Chapter ~  As the textbook states, in the 95% that humans have inhabited the earth we have been able to survive by means of scavenging and hunting with no need for farming and other methods/modern techniques.
